Inside Our Car Paint Restoration Process | Auto Wax

Restoring the Shine

Paint restoration starts with diagnosis, not machine work.

Auto Wax regularly corrects sanding marks, oxidation, holograms, and poor prior repairs with controlled process.

Read the paint before touching it

  • Identify paint system and prior bodywork
  • Evaluate defect depth and panel risk
  • Protect thin edges and repaired sections

Decontamination protects correction quality

Wash, fallout removal, and clay decontamination prevent bonded debris from creating new defects during correction.

Controlled sanding and polishing

Sanding is targeted and measured. Correction uses pad/polish combinations tuned to paint hardness and defect type.

Blend and protect

The goal is seamless visual blending, then protection with sealant or coating to preserve restored finish.
